A common sight here in Pune. This was about 9 am. The little girl seemed half asleep. At a speed of around 30 kph she was drowsing securely up against her Dad.
Amazing stability of the little girl… Wonder how she holds herself without holding to her daddy’s back.

When we were in Cozumel, we would see entire families (two adults, a couple of small kids) heading into the center of town on a scooter. We started keeping count trying to find the scooter with the highest population.
The most we saw during the initial look-see trip was five people on one scooter. Two kids in between mom and dad, plus another up front like the lap-rider, above. Mom riding sidesaddle in the back, clutching the kids, a large duffel bag, and her skirts. We also saw a pair of guys headed to work on their motorbike, carrying a 10-foot ladder (vertically); and two women with a giant CRT screen wedged between them. I marvel at their riding, driving, and balance skills.
